Meet Daniel Osagie

Daniel Osagie Ojemende is a dynamic legal professional renowned for his strategic insights and effective solutions in enhancing legal operations and community welfare. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Transnational Business Practice from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, graduating in May 2024. Daniel also earned his Barrister-at-Law (B.L.) with second-class honors from the Nigerian Law School in Abuja in 2021, where he received distinctions in Corporate Law, Criminal Litigation, and Professional Ethics & Skills. He completed his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at Ambrose Alli University in Edo State, Nigeria, in 2019, graduating with second-class honors and a CGPA of 3.38, ranking 16th out of 125.
Daniel's work experience is extensive and varied. At the University of the Pacific's Library Division, he optimized legal database management and supported research processes from February 2023 to May 2024. As a State Counsel for the Osun State Government in Nigeria, he advised on complex civil and criminal matters, contributing to policy-making processes and representing the state in various legal proceedings. At Nloud Law Firm in Benin City, Nigeria, he served as a Senior Associate Lawyer from January 2022 to January 2023, where he handled corporate compliance, property law transactions, financial litigation, and company secretarial duties. His earlier roles include administrative assistant at EGold Medical and Emergency Services Ltd. and program coordinator for Thinking Tomorrow NGO.
Daniel is actively involved in professional bodies, being a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Benin Branch, and holding memberships in the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, and the International Law Association. His certifications include Chartered Mediator and Conciliator from the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, CPR and First Aid Certificate, and a TI Support Certificate in progress at Calbright College, Sacramento.
